Ifeoma I. Idigbe is a finance and business analyst/consultant with broad and extensive professional experience. Her educational background includes a first degree in the Pure Sciences, with a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Masters in Human Resource Management (MA HRM). She has also attended various courses. Her professional career started in banking, in corporate finance and then development finance (now called SME financing) at International Merchant Bank. Her career has spanned banking/finance and advisory services, entrepreneurial activities in business advisory/consulting services and capacity building, providing services to local and international organisations.

She has also worked in the Nigerian public sector, having been appointed an Executive Director (Finance & Administration) and becoming the Acting Managing Director before the end of her 4-year tenure, at Benin – Owena River Basin Development Authority, a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Water Resources. Ifeoma was a delegate to the 2014 National Conference in Abuja convened by former President Goodluck Jonathan to strategize on the Way Forward for Nigeria and served as the Vice-Chairman on the Committee for Agriculture and Water Resources.

Ifeoma has a keen interest in people development, and organisational culture and behaviour, which she believes drive the attainment of excellence in organisations. She remains an independent financial and business analyst/Consultant, and also a social entrepreneur, the Founder & Executive Vice Chairman of boys to MEN Foundation, a Nigerian non-governmental organisation (NGO) established in November 2017, dedicated to developing boys and men into responsible, ethical, gentlemen with integrity through a range of programmes, initiatives and activities. She is and has been on the Board of several NGOs as a co – Founder of Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) serving as the first Chairman of the Board of Trustees. She is also a founding Trustee of the Ovie Brume Foundation.

Ifeoma is the Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Board of Green Hub Africa, an environment focused organisation, and the Founder and Executive Vice Chairman of boys to MEN Foundation. Ifeoma Idigbe also sits on the Boards of companies across industries which include SystemSpecs Group (a leading software development organisation in Nigeria), and is the Chairman of Remita Payment Systems Limited. She is on the Board of Sun Trust Bank Nigeria Limited, and DOII Designs Limited, a furniture manufacturing and Interior Design company. She is the Chairman of Waveline Growth Partners, a micro lender focused on supporting small businesses to promote financial inclusion.

Mrs. Idigbe has taught Critical Thinking and Public Speaking to graduate scholars at the Nigerian University of Technology and Management (NUTM) in Lagos since its inception with the 2020/21 cohort.

Ifeoma is a published author of two books, Sounds from Silence: Musings, and About Men: Random Poems, Monologues and Reflections. She is about to publish her third book, Melodies of My Mind, a collection of poems. Ifeoma also contributed monthly articles to Genevieve and TW women’s magazines for over ten years and was a co-host on TW Conversations, a television talk show on DSTV. She has hosted several podcasts. Ifeoma I. Idigbe has varied interests that include reading and writing, travel, the collection of paintings and objets d’art, interior and garden design, and has played and continues to play various leadership roles in her church.
