Muhammad Mansur Ibrahim is a Professor of Islamic Studies with the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. He is an academic scholar and subject matter expert on Shari’ah with qualifications on higher learning from Islamic African Centre, Khartoum, Sudan; Islamic University Medina, Saudi Arabia; and Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Nigeria.
Prof. Muhammad is a prolific writer with several academic publications in refereed journals to his credit, and has also presented numerous papers at reputable international conferences on various aspects of Islamic jurisprudence. He has over 27 years of teaching and management experiences and is presently a Faculty Professor at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, while at the same time he is an expert advisor on shari’ah in the Non-Interest (Islamic) banking and finance industry in Nigeria. Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim is a member of the Advisory Committee of Experts at Sun Trust Bank Nigeria Limited.
