Mohammed Inuwa Shehu is a graduate of Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, an alumnus of Wharton and Harvard Business Schools.
Mohammed Shehu worked with Citibank from 1991 to 2008. His work experience in Citibank spanned across operations, customer service, control, international trade, technology, strategy and business process improvement. He worked in several Citibank branches across the world including Egypt, India, Poland and Democratic Republic of Congo – Kinshasa. He left Citibank after 18 years as Country Head Operations Citibank, Congo DR in 2008.
In 2008, he joined ASO Savings and Loans as Executive Director, a position he held for 7 years from 2008 to 2015. He retired from banking in August 2015.
He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a member of the Nigeria Economic society and a member of the International Service Quality Institute, Minneapolis. He has been a facilitator for the Money Market Association of Nigeria, the advisory Council of Verve International and member of the Nigeria VISION 2020 Thematic working group (Housing).
Shehu is a consummate business, finance, and technology manager with a rich and diverse international experience of over 27 years. He is founder and President of Africa development foundation (An Africa based non-governmental organization dedicated to economic empowerment and development on the African Continent).
Mohammed Shehu, is an avid reader and has delivered papers on finance, business and technology in South Africa, UAE, USA and a host of other Countries.
